Started reading 1000 Recordings to Hear Before You Die and couldn't get past ABBA's "S.O.S" from their self-titled 1975 album.
That hook, it really hooks. According to Wikipedia, John Lennon and Pete Townshend have both admitted this was one of their favorite pop songs.
